It’s always great to learn from others!!! Breeders Ed is interested in creating a new learning idea and we need your help.
We would like to offer two mentoring sessions, one on Tuesday and one on Thursday, 15 minutes after the judging for the day. We would like to create stations where people can come and ask questions and openly talk about dogs. Probably 30 minutes on each day, or however long they are needed. Leah and Kim suggest the following stations (and are open to other ideas):
- Grooming basics (including nails)
- Ring procedures.
- Structure overview (learning how to go over a dog, etc)
- Heads (earsets)
- “Ask Me Anything”
We need your help to man these stations (and any others you can suggest). Think speed-dating, where you go from station to station and learn from people who are experienced mentors. If you are willing to man a station and mentor folks, please fill out the form here. Leah and Kim will be in touch shortly afterward. If you could, please respond no later than next Sunday, April 14th. We will make a decision at that time if we can accommodate it this year.
