For the first time since 2019, we be offering Herding Instinct Testing at Purina.
Date: Wednesday, May 21, 2025.
Time 3:00 p.m.
This will be on site at Purina, after sweepstakes. We encourage everyone to come and watch, even if you don’t participate personally. Experienced herding folks will be there to answer any questions. Come and see what our dogs were bred to do!
We plan to have a short demo with commentary before we start to explain what the tester is looking for from your dog. Dogs must be at least 6 mo. old on day of test. Certificates will be awarded to those who pass.
This is a CWCCA instinct test only; it does not qualify the dog for an AKC IT title.
Registration opens on 3/5/2025 on our online entry website at a cost of $25.
Space is limited to 25 tests on a first-come basis. We will keep a short ‘wait’ list if necessary.
