Judging
- Photo entries will be judged based on creativity, quality, originality, responsiveness to the prompt and overall impact.
- First, Second, Third and Fourth will be awarded in each category in advance, judged by a Professor of Photography.
- Online voting for the winner of the Karen Johnson Best in Show Award will begin the first day of Nationals at 12:00 pm, Saturday May 17, 2025, and will close at 12:00 pm on Saturday, May 24th.
- The Best in Show Winner will be announced at the Annual Banquet.
- The prize must be collected by the winner or their representative. No prizes will be shipped.

The Photo Contest is ONLINE:
You don’t have to be on site to vote, but you do need to be here to pick up the Grand Prize or have a representative pick it up. Nothing will be mailed.
All photos must be original work, taken by the entrants. No third party may own or control any materials the photo contains, and the photo must not infringe upon the trademark, copyright, moral rights, intellectual rights, or rights of privacy of any entity or person.
- All photographs entered must include a Cardigan Welsh Corgi.
- Only Digital files will be accepted. Prints are not accepted as part of the competition.
- Digital files must be in .JPEG, .jpg or .png format. Files must be a minimum of 300 dpi not to exceed 10 mg.
- Entries may be cropped.
- Entries will not be accepted unless submitted through the online portal.
- Entries not submitted through the proper channel will be deleted.
- You retain your rights to your photograph; however, by entering the contest, entrants agree that photos submitted can be used by the CWCCA for advertising purposes: a royalty-free, world-wide, perpetual, non-exclusive license to publicly display, reproduce and create derivative works of the entries, in whole or in part, in any media now existing or later developed, for any purpose, including, but not limited to, advertising and promotion of the magazine and its website.
- Submissions will not be accepted once the deadline lapses.
- The contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
