Agility Glory Runs

Held Monday 5/11/26 at the lunch break

Open to AKC registered, retired and/or disabled agility dogs who are not competing in the regular trials. This special event is designed to showcase and honor retired and/or disabled agility dogs.

  • In the event that the puppy and veteran entry on Wednesday exceeds the maximum daily count for a judge an additional sweepstakes judge will be assigned.
  • The Parade of Titleholders will be held on Thursday before Winners Dog.
  • Stud Dog, Brood Bitch, and Brace will be held on Saturday after Best of Breed.

Entry Fees:

  • Regular conformation classes: $39 for first entry, $25 for additional class
  • Non-Regular and Puppy Classes (6-9, 9-12, and BBE puppy): $30
  • Sweepstakes (Puppy and Veteran) $25
  • 4-6 Month Beginner Puppy: $20

Friday afternoon/evening, all juniors will be invited to gather and see old friends, meet new friends and get to know each other better!  This is a great opportunity to ask questions and share information with each other. It will also be a time to relax and laugh as we play games and grab a bite together.

Juniors under ten (10) years of age must be accompanied by an adult 18 or over.


PeeWee Juniors

Limited to 10 entries

Pee Wee Juniors will follow regular Junior Showmanship, which starts at 8 a.m.   All entry forms must be received before the Pee Wee Juniors start. Please check in or get help at the Welcome Desk.  Entries may be delivered in person on Saturday Morning at the Show site before Pee Wee Junior starts.

Fast CAT runs by Speed Dog Coursing will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Runs will be $30 each.

The Triathlon Challenge

The Triathlon Challenge welcomes and encourages participation by all entrants and their Cardigans regardless of level and expertise.  It is intended to be a fun event and honors those dogs and handlers who participate in a variety of events at our National Specialty.

The Junior Triathlon

The Junior Triathlon Challenge is a competition to honor the most versatile Junior Handler competing in a variety of event categories at the annual National Specialty.  Juniors must be pre-registered to participate.

There is no cost to participate in the Junior Triathlon

In addition to the program, we have special seating for those who would like “tutoring” from a mentor, a long-time Cardigan breeder, or a board member.

The Judges Ed Seminar on Friday night is open to all who sign up, regardless of “prospective judge” or not. Only prospective judges are allowed in the “hands-on” portion of the program.
